Hot NURSE ! button-up mini-dress (with tute) pic HEAVY (now with bag)

Yay! I finally made my sexy nurse dress! I'm really pleased with the way it came out I made the little red cross patch and added low pockets like on the front of lab coats. The belt is just one I had , but I think ill make one thats a little thicker eventually . I also want to come up with some more nurse/Dr type patches to put on the sleeve and maby a cool name patch too . so If you have any ideas please share them .also I REALLY NEED TO MAKE A NURSE HAT  to go with it so If any one knows how or knows a tute PLEASE HELP ME ! i would really appreciate it .I also took pics along the way ... its my first attempt at any kind of tute so bear with me ...

Now to get started .. what I did was make a pattern dress along time ago out of some material I don't particularly care for .. just to get a shape I like for future reference . This one is pretty much a long t shirt that flares a little at the bottom...



I just double the fabric and trace the pattern dress



then pin and cut it out



then you remove the button strip and collar from an old  shirt
and pin it on... i reccomend to start in the middle of the back of the neck so everything ends up straight.


next just cut to desired legnth and hem , hem the sleeves and add your "hot ( insert theme here) button-up mini-dress" details and accessories..and wa  la !

Its super simple ! especially since the sleeves aren't separate pieces . I really hope that some one tries this and posts pics . I would love to see what creative versions you come up with ! I will definitely be making more also !

I went to a doctors and nurses party at the start of the year and i made my boyfriend and I labcoats.
