Ok. So I have been (or rather, am in) a few swaps now. I'm still relatively new, but I'm loving it so far. However, I've seen several people mention that they're sending their partners questionaires. Above and beyond the ones you already fill out to get into the swap.
So... I would like to know the questions you ask your swap partners. I can't be the only person out there who draws a blank on what to ask Wink.
Thanks! I can't wait to see what all you come up with Smiley

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Hi naelany!!  I'm in the Ho swap with you  Roll Eyes  Grin  Boy that's a rowdy bunch.  Shocked

This is the questionaire I sent Millik.  Now, we had decided on a theme (I think it's self explanitory) so that's what the questions are geared toward.

Okay, here is my little survey for you courtesy of John Cusack and Jack Black from High Fidelity; (except I changed it to 5 instead of 10)

Top Five Favourite:
Female Characters from Books
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Female Bands/Singers
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Influential Woman in History
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Now for some normal type questions, sorta;

What size t-shirt do you prefer?

What are your fav colors/combos?

What crafts do you do most often? (sew, knit, crochet, paper, book arts, etc..)

Is there anything particular that you want/need?

I hope this helps you a little  Wink

Wooaahh...you weren't kidding about it being the mother of all lists, racky! Thank you Smiley So I take it you don't ask additional questions of your partner? Wink I think it's kind of interesting to see what different people do in order to swap...as far as asking questions go I mean Cheesy

I don't really ask a lot of questions, mostly because I'm so terrible at filling out questionaires! I usually gather info by post stalking and wists. Sometimes, if I have a craft in mind that I'm not sure about, I'll ask a specific question, but I'm not big on lists. That's just me, though.

I've done most of my info gathering so far through post stalking and wists as well, so I know what you mean. And oh yeah, I suck at answering questionaires as well.

In the movie "High Fidelity" Jack Black and John Cusak are always making up their "Top Ten" lists.  It's a great movie, see it if you can.  I've heard the book the movie is based off of is good as well, but it's an English book, they converted it to the US when they made the movie, I heard the author still likes it though.....

Anyway!  Grin  I don't use extra questionaires much, this time I had some ideas that I needed help developing further, hence the extra questions.  What I love is when people just craft what's inside of them with all their thought put into it and do their best, then I know I'm going to like it no matter what.  I like to tell people to just go for it!  Now, there are people you can't do that for, but I think you kind of get the feeling for who those people are...

I love post and wist stalking.  Blogs and myspace (livejournal) are great too if you can find them....
