I don't have pics of the process, but basically it's just:

Drawn in graphics program (I use Illustrator)
Printed on glossy photo paper
Laminated (I use a xyron machine)
Cut out carefully around design
Glued (superglue gel works great) to 1 layer craft foam & let dry
Cut out so foam doesn't extend past the image
Glued eyepin between dried layer and another layer of craft foam
Trimmed excess foam
Painted on back & sides with Scribbles 3 Dimensional black paint

i love those. thanks for the tutorial. i really need to get me one of them thar xron machines. they are so useful for all kinds of stuff.

You could also use clear packing tape for this instead of the xyron machine.
