patchy side panels on pants and jacket cuffs

so i got these pants at goodwill but they were a little bit to small so i added some patchwork side panels

and wearing them in front of my really gross mirror


and i also had a jacket that i got at goodwill that the sleeves were a little short on me so i added some colorful cuffs


and the inside of the cuffs:

Due to serious weight fluctuations I've always wondered how to make those wonderful jeans that used to fit me, fit me again.  Nothing ever seemed right, but this looks great!
