I use fiberfil too, but pack it VERY densely.

If you want some wieght find nylon beads for doll making near the fiberfil shelf, or use lentils.

crafty_Va_mom I use densely packed poly fiberfill with rice on the bottom for weight.  I usually don't have liquids in my craft area.  What I would love is the traditional sawdust.  I've been thinking of emery sand and coffee grounds too, and also read somewhere that you can use those metallic scrubbers wrapped in poly fiberfill
but have never tried it.

 I make felt you see, so stuff may get wet. I wonder if there is any pet shop would sell sawdust? that's an interesting idea. Still I think I'll have to go for something like the man-made micro beads.
