Here's my pincushion offerings (so far) for this weekend:

The Robot turned out a bit wonky because of only three wraps, but I didn't want to mangle the robot too much.  Perhaps mangling would have been a better choice.

The other little guy started life as the victim model I used in the tutorial for the slip stitch.  I'm pleased with how it turned out and it almost makes up for the wonky robot. Wink

Hope you enjoy these. Smiley

Thanks, jloveg!  Experimenting with different numbers of wraps is fun, but I think I'll draw the line at three; otherwise, it may end up looking like a bottom (or a peach)!

Fidget, those are great!  I love the robot - I think 3 was just right for him.  And I'm thinking that 6 "petals" is my new favorite!  Very nice!!

Thanks, Shimmer413!  Six does look nice, especially on smaller cushions.  I haven't tried it on a larger/regular size one (yet) but the day is young!

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
