So cute!  If you did one in tannish-white it would look like a latte.....

Those are very cute, BeaG.  How did you get the felt tops so nice and round and smooth?

Very pretty, BeaG!  So neat and tidy, and I like the idea of using gimp!

Barbolot, is the swirlly, curlly trim BeaG used called gimp?  I always thought that was the plastic lacing you used to make lanyards in Art & Crafts at Girl Scout camp.  Live and learn!

I had to double-check, but yep, that's what it's called.  That's French gimp...  you can see some here.

Thanks, everyone!
Eh, how did I get the felt to be so smooth? I cut out a circle, stitched around the sides and then pulled and knotted both thread ends together. Throught the opening that was left I firmly stuffed the 'ball'. Then I glued it inside the cup (no need to close the opening in the 'ball'). There were still a few little wrinkels showing around the edge, but I covered them with the trim. Eh, no, with the gimp! (I learned a new word too.)

LOL, BeaG!  I only learned what gimp was a few months ago.  My sister, who is a fabulous costumer, seamstress and designer, patiently told me what it is called, after I called it that swirly-cordy-ribbony stuff.

Thanks for the info, BeaG!  Those tops are so beautifully smooth, I couldn't imagine it was sew, turn, stuff.  Are you sure there's no fairy dust involved?  Wink

Barbolot, thanks for the vocabulary lesson!  But if you're ever sending me to the fabric shop for some trim ask for the swirlly-cordy-ribbony stuff or I'm likely to come back with purple plastic lacing.  Wink
