Awesome job Eliea!

I had a swap partner recently who requested a pin cushion and so I started scouring this thread and google for ideas. I was going with a fish pond theme and this came to me:
It's a lilly pad!
I used a bunch of the techniques from here to make it I just changed the shape of the cushion and made a little felt lilly for her to use for her needles.

I think you could do it no problem. I saved the pattern so if you guys like I can scan it for you and post it. It's pretty easy just some felt for the flower and cotton for the lilly.

I would love to try and make this.  I have this dream of having a giant vase of water with a water lily floating in it, and a goldfish swimming around.  Our apartment doesn't allow fish tanks bigger than 10 gals. so I can't wait to move to a house.  Till then, this can be my water lily!!!
