I LOVE that!
I want one - my name means "lily"
Awesome job Eliea!

I had a swap partner recently who requested a pin cushion and so I started scouring this thread and google for ideas. I was going with a fish pond theme and this came to me:
It's a lilly pad!
I used a bunch of the techniques from here to make it I just changed the shape of the cushion and made a little felt lilly for her to use for her needles.

I think you could do it no problem. I saved the pattern so if you guys like I can scan it for you and post it. It's pretty easy just some felt for the flower and cotton for the lilly.

If you don't mind, yes PLEASE!  Thank you!

I would love to try and make this.  I have this dream of having a giant vase of water with a water lily floating in it, and a goldfish swimming around.  Our apartment doesn't allow fish tanks bigger than 10 gals. so I can't wait to move to a house.  Till then, this can be my water lily!!!

I think you could do it no problem. I saved the pattern so if you guys like I can scan it for you and post it. It's pretty easy just some felt for the flower and cotton for the lilly.

Wow! That's so beautiful, as always! Go on, let us into the secret - how did you cut all those teeny flowers? By hand?  Undecided

ah the sizzix paddle punch master strikes again!  Samsara, go back a few pages and you'll see the explanation and the link to some great pics.

I am so amazed by your patience in stitching these, and your wonderful sense of composition verybigjen.  I'm also always too late to buy the ones I like... Maybe that's a good thing - I'd be so broke!  Wink
