Here comes the snow again - updated with new pics (fully finished ornament)

I made these too! I love snowflakes.

I bought a chunk of beeswax from a craft show and use it to precondition my thread. The ones that I made this way can be hung from a hook on a tree. I just flattened them by hand and they seem to do well retaining their shape there after.

I like using the beeswax to do some necklaces - like how the wax fills the bead holes in sometimes and helps them stay in place. 

For this, I did not like how they looked on their own.  To me they looked unfinished, which was why I strung them in the bangle to frame them.  I posted new pics in my original post.  I like how they look, and they are held more stable in the bangle.  Kind of like a snowflake dreamcatcher.

Very pretty! Unfortunately, it's not one of the issues I bought, and it's not one of the articles they offer from their back issues.  

Last time I had a bead and button subscription, my bead stash grew enormously, but the output didn't. It's safer for me not to get the magazine, even if it means I miss out on a beauty like this.  I'll just enjoy it from this side of the screen.

Those are really lovely, I think framing them in the bangles really does finish them off nicely.
