There are lots of free patterns online, plus hats & gloves in the Stitch 'n Bitch books, if you have those. I like LionBrand yarn's website's patterns, too.

Once partners are given and you have an idea of what you'll be making, let me know if you need help finding a pattern. I and the rest of my local SnB group have a ton of patterns, magazines, and books for both knitting and crochet.

Sweetz, over half the participants thus far are requesting some kind of fingerless type, so it would be easy for me to pair you that way. :-) I will do my best to pair people who want to make exactly what their partner wants.

But remember, everyone - it's up to you to be specific in your sign-up info. The better you detail what you want to make and receive, the better I can match you. If it's vague, I (and your partner) won't know what you really want.

Also:

Your swap status will be added at the close of sign-ups. It's much simpler to do everyone's status at the same time. Also, in my opinion, participation actually begins when partners are given. This also allows for a little grace period for people who may suddenly want to drop the swap:

If any person signed up for this swap finds - for whatever reason - that they cannot do it, please know that you have until one day before sign-ups officially end to notify me that you are dropping the swap. This way, you will not get negative feedback for "flaking," because the "in progress" status would not have been set.

It's okay to realize that you may have too much to do to participate in any given swap. It's not okay to have that realization three days before send-outs. So please consider your schedule and whatever else, and if you decide not to participate, just send me a PM by October 30th.

Thank-you!

Sadly, I will have to sit this one out.  I am full of swapness already.  It doesn't look like my in progresses will be clear in time, but I will keep my eye out for the gallery.
