OMG.  This is the best thing ever! I grew up playing nintendo, I love doing needlepoint, and I have a DS.  Bless your soul for putting the dimensions and grid online.  This was absolutely a GREAT idea!!!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Wow, this is so inspiring for me! I want to start doing some more crafts and I think I might have to attempt this with a magnetic closure somehow. That would be perfect! Maybe hidden under the felt? Any ideas?

I immediately thought of using magnets when I read through the pattern, too. Will a magnet do funny things to the DS? How much like a computer are they? (This is obviously going to be a gift lol.)

**Edit** I just discovered that Nintendo makes a "magnet stand" for the DS, which you can use to attach the DS to your fridge, for use with a game that has a bunch of recipes. So I'm going to guess that using a magnet won't be an issue ....

It sounds like a great idea to try out! When I get a chance I'm going to give it a shot and do some design changes that I've been thinking about!
