I got a pair of shoes from payless about a year ago for 5$
and i haven't even worn them once, because they don't match anything i have!
any ideas!?
 Smiley

also they are made out of a wool/cotton material,
and the bow is made of a velvet material.
how would i go about changing the color of them?

ooh... tricky.  You could try a shoe dying kit.  They come in various types (for fabric and leather, etc.)  I'm guessing that you will have the best luck dying them black, but with the different materials you might get an uneven color.  I haven't tried dying shoes myself, but judging by Dyables (those shoes that lots of bridesmaids have to wear) it seems like there are a lot of things that can go wrong, like the dye coming off on you foot it they get wet.  But hey, with a $5 pair of shoes you might as well give it a shot. just go topless then :-P it's just such a pity because they're really nice. I have no idea what size 6 is because i'm european size-oriented (41,40 ish) maybe get a nice black top to wear with...see through ish. I see your problem..they're a bit difficult.not very generic.

black sequins so they'll be sparkly, but go with everything? I'll try think of it more...

I'd hand sew little peices of fabric all over them crazy quilt style...or else give them to my sister or Mom. Sis and I especially swap fairly often.
