Hey all -- just wondering if there are any cool craftsters in Charlottesville, VA or thereabouts who might want to get a little group together. I'm 27 and a student, and I mostly sew, but would love to meet creative folks of other persuasions too. Let me know!

Me!  I'm in Cville, and I think I'm cool.   Cheesy

There's a Stitch & Bitch that meets at Cville coffee on Wednesday nights.  There's usually a fair amount of knitters there, but I've been scheduled to work wednesday nights from here to eternity (so it seems) so I'm not able to make it to that anymore.  Boo.

I'm 26, I mainly crochet, but I can knit (badly) and I've been sewing for a while too.

I've been thinking about trying to start something up on the weekends, but have no clue how to go about it.

I'm here! I'm a dabbler, but lately I'm heavily into knitting and crochet.

I had no idea there was an S&B in town. Man, I should take my knitting tomorrow. What time does it start?

I'm just getting into crochet, so if you want help with your knitting and can help me suck less and amigurumi we can work something out. :-p

I have often pondered whether to try starting something up. I figured that if I did it, I'd post something on the bulletin board in the Tea Bazaar.

Googling turned up this yahoo group for the Cville SnB. The meetings are from 7-9. I think I'll turn up tonight for the first half and see how it is. I gotta get home by 8 for my weekly online "date night" with my boyfriend, making fun of Jericho together.

Hey Everyone! I am a craftster in C'ville.  I am 25, just moved here, and trying to meet some new people (my boyfriend is getting his graduate degree here at UVA).  I have a few people over my house on Wednesday nights around 7 and we knit.  If you are interested, I would love to have you over.  I would go out to the SnB at C'ville Coffee but there's something comforting about being able to relax in a home during the winter:)

Wednesday nights at 7 is when the SnB gathers. Precisely. Not that I'm a founding member or anything, but if you switch it to another time then the other ladies who go to the SnB might come.

Hey everyone, I'm in Charlottesville too.  I dabble in a lot of things, but don't know how to knit/crochet =P  Glad to see there are some other crafty C'villians here too  Smiley

Hey, I'm a 20-something crafty Charlottesvill'er too!

I've made a couple of SnB meetings in the past, but I'm more of a crocheter and sewer than a knitter... so I'd definitely be up for a less knit-centric crafty meetup, if anyone else is.

Moi!

Are the Stitch and Bitches full of knitters? *brandishes crochet hook*

Maybe we need a general craftster meetup ...
