I think I might be interested in helping organize it - I don't know how much help I could be as I'd never done it, but I recently went to one and it was a total bomb (not our fault, the advertising was atrocious and I'd be surprised if 100 people came through.) so I have an idea of what needs to be done. Let me know!

Is this show still in the works.  I would love to help, if I can and know of others that may want to be involved.

Let's get this thing going

Happy Crafting!!!!!

Wow, I haven't been here in awhile.  Yes I'm still interested in planning a show in Essex County. I am down to two locations in Maplewood.  The Maplewood Women's Club and the Maplewood Community Center.  And also a small location in Summit.  I did have a tentative date for next spring for the first place.  I will check back when I have more information.  I'm so excited to see the interest.

If anyone knows of any other locations in Essex County, please let me know.  You can email me at shopATcollectiveele ments.com

Maplewood is a nice town. May I make one suggestion? If you are planning on the spring, start spreading the word right after the new year. It seems to me that lately all these smaller local shows draw nothing but people selling Avon and Tupperware, which is fine if that's what you want. However, if you are going completely handmade, you may want to make it known early on so that you can fill all those tables up nicely.

I am still down to help!  Smiley

Yes, I'd like to avoid that.  That's one of the problems I have seen at various festivals and fairs in Essex County.  I need to get back to the Women's Club.  I signed up for a Saturday in May but haven't heard back from them.
