During the X-Mas Holidays, I want to re-arrange, add, remove, etc things to my bedroom.

These are the some themes I'm thinking of:
Black and White
50's
Marilyn Monroe
Pink
Movies
TV
Music
Lyrics
Horror

Here are some images of my bedroom now (don't mind the mess)

Closet:

Rest of Bedroom:

Basically, no painting, due to renting of the apartment
Also, for the closet, I'm turning into more of a "reading area" because it is big enough, just wondering is anyone has any ideas about that as well

But if you have any other ideas, tell me please Cheesy

I also rent so I have the same problems with the walls. I'd be looking at some key storage pieces to start with, maybe bookcases? Secondly, some larger art pieces to anchor the room, yours are all quite small and look quite disparate-although you could frame them all and add them to one wall...

i saw this episode of ... designer finals? i think. and she draped fabric from the ceiling to make this billowy look and it was awesome. i agree with ms.cate, framing and grouping the posters together, and maybe sticking with one theme, would make the room look more organized.pink might be an easy theme to stick to; can you sand and paint your dresser/tv stand or is that too much commitment?

Here are my suggestions:

Pick one theme that you want in the room and a color scheme that would look ok with the wall color (could go with pink and use various shades of pink and maybe purple or whatever you like that goes with pink)

I like the idea of hanging fabric from the ceiling to cover the walls. You could use whatever color and texture of fabric you want and it'd cover the walls so it'd give the room a different wall color.

I'd suggest to take down all posters that don't go with the theme you choose and as was already suggested to frame the ones you're keeping up.

Paint the desk and that little shelf the TV's on to match the color shceme/room theme.

Get a sheet/comforter set and maybe some pillows for the bed that go with the color shceme.
