First -- how cute is she?!?!  ... her name is Coralie, and she's a total doll ...

... i made her this little denim jacket last spring (my mom actually put the finishing touches on it -- thanks, mom), but i only just recently got pix of her in it ... i am really proud of it because it's one of the first items of clothing i've ever made (i figured i'd start 'small'!) and the first time i tried deviating from a pattern ... the strings need to be cut a little shorter, but overall, i think it's the cutest thing ...

okay, i guess i can't post pix yet ... so here are linx ... sorry!

... rockin' the hood!

... and a side pony (my girl has style!) ...

... this picture makes me wish i was a kid again (which is not to say that i haven't been on this swing recently, because i have!) ...

... and finally, here she is showin' off her new tattoo!

Nope -- I bought it at Daytona in NYC.  But I think it is pretty easy to make if you wanted to.  I have a great book by Colette Wolff called "The Art of Manipulating Fabric" that has great pix and tutorials for gathering, ruffles, shirring, pin tucks, etc.  (http://www.amazon.com/Art-Manipulating-Fabric-Colette-Wolff/dp/0801984963/sr=8-1/qid=1161102011/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-9670654-0719052?ie=UTF8) ... it's a great resource and is very inspiring ... it was recommended to me by my fav sewing instructor here in NYC, www.sheilawalkerstu dio.com ...

Thanks for the props Tia and Always...!!
