This is a set I made which inspired by Audrey Hepburn's character in Sabrina, specifically this dress.

Here is my version:

The dress is made with a stretch denim embossed with a velvet floral design.  It is boatneck style with shoulder ties and a dropped waist.  There are buttons in the back.

I decided to add the feminine cumberbund to make it a bit funkier.  I got inspired by one that my 14 y.o. sister found at a thrift shop.  Mine is made with a fuschia stretch poplin and it has 2 rows of snap closures that are hidden by the big bow.

Underneath is a petticoat made with tulle and lined with a black stretch poplin.  And I also added a boatneck top for cooler weather.  It is made of black velour and is cropped with 3/4 sleeves.

While making the petticoat, I thought it would be fun to make some black and white striped leggings with stretch lace on the hem to go underneath and create a totally different look with some of the different pieces.  So here is a more punk outfit with the petticoat, leggings, white tank top, cumberbund, and velour top.
