If you want to do a swap for paper arts, igobylorib is the partner to choose! HOLY COW this lady has skills!

I got my matchboxes yesterday. They look so lovely sitting in a little bowl on my night stand. THey match my bedroom perfectly.

Here is a small sampling of what this gal can do:

I could not be more pleased. THanks so much Lori!

prepare to be amazed kiddos, I received the most awesome of awesome things today from SewingLori  Grin Indeed... so awesome I could cry... She made me a scarf inspired by this one on my Wists: http://www.pluckyfluff.com/tropicana.html

except mine is way cooler because it's not 5 zillion colors <3

Terrible action shot!

But what makes this scarf so awesome:

Cardinals...

And flowers are stuck in here and there!

And then there's all this awesome yarn that I can't stop touching, lol... Lori, I LOVE IT! Thank you soooooo much! All the colors are perfect for this autumn... I dont think I'll leave my house without it Cheesy

piratecore, I'm told your cupcake is on it's way to you, but I have to wait 'til the boy get's home to give the DC#  Roll Eyes

Thanks! What an adventure. I'm a beginning knitter so I was just so thrilled that I learned to increase and decrease AND ALL THAT YARN!

I'm glad you like it! I kind of (okay majorly) steered away from the one on your wist... but you love red, right?

You sure can rock it!

I only have pics of the cupcake... I forgot to take any of the cozy  Cry

I made piratecore a needlefelted cupcake to be used as a pincushion Cheesy on her wist list there was a cupcake cushion made from reclaimed fulled wool, but I didn't have access to those things so...

ta-da!

Haha, it was my first time making a hinged box too... Ok, so everything I sent you was a 'first time', lol... Anyway, i looked a similar box I have and just cut out posterboard in the dimensions I needed, decorated it and punched the brads in to make it hinged. Insta-box out of recycled materials  Grin

Lori, I'm blushing! I dont think any of my items has ever been wisted before... I can totally make you one though!

finally! after an epic battle i wrestled my camera into submission and managed to get these sad shots of the AMAZING treats i received from the super talented piratecore. first, her polymer clay skills are amazing on these cupcake charms that have already gotten me loads of compliments (i put them on a necklace that i tried to get a pic of but it wound up too fuzzy):

and she also sent me a handpainted cupcake pot that is bound for my desk at work! and the girl can PAINT!

thank you piratecore! i love these so much! how did you get the cupcakes to be glittery? is that a special clay or did you have to add the glitter yourself?

OOh yay! I'm so glad these cupcakes found a loving home. and thank you for the gracious compliments Cool
*When I mix colors I always tend to add a teeny piece of either sparkly bronze/gold/silver, or iridescent white(depending on what I'm mixing) that way everything has a little extra sparkle.

Very very cute. The more cupcakes I see on there, the more I want them.

I've commissioned Emiko to make one like PirateCores. Smiley
