KrazyGurlyGirl: I only used two strands of yarn for those green slippers. One strand is verigated and the other was white. Your slippers turned out fabulous!

BirdytheMighty: The magic circle is at your toes. Post pics when you are done so we can see them.

I should have known that...duh!  I like using that kind of yarn.

Made my own version too!  I'm new to crocheting (this is my third project) and originally bought the yarn to make socks as an easy project, but I decided to do this instead being as cute as they are!

(My dog was sleeping, so I couldn't help taking the picture next to her!  Tongue)

Being new to crochet, I added the "total number of expected stitches after a round" (i.e. 6, 12 and 18) to the pattern to make it easier to track mistakes as I went along...  (Note that I only did this after realizing that somewhere along the way I had increased too much and the slipper was growing out of proportion...)   Wink

I think they turned out pretty cute!  If you're new to crochet, this is truly super easy.

I just finished two pairs. One for me and one for my 7 year old daughter. I just made hers smaller and they came out perfect. Thanks so much!

I tried my hand at these slippers..you are right they do work up very quickly! However, like everyone else it certainly took me more than 20 minutes to make them!
Here's my version...please excuse the white dog hair   Undecided

Here's a detail of the buttons I put on, they have no function, just for fun.

The colors are a bit distorted in these pictures, the buttons are actually a lot brighter, the slippers are a deep purple and majenta.

I finally did it. This was the first project i had attempted when i taught myself to crochet again and I failed miserably many many times.

Now i'm a much more comfortable crocheter and I must say! i love my new pair of slippers. Of course I master these slippers when we have a heat wave going on and I can't enjoy them... but they're waiting for me!
