Hey guys,

Although round 6 is still in progress, there are a lot of impatient bunnies out there gunning for round 7!  So, I have offered to organise as soon as I get a free space in my swap Q.

In the meantime, feel free to post your interest here.  I would add that I am thinking about changing the swap rules a little to allow fewer swappers from the US and more from other countries, so that someone from Australia who wants to swap with someone from Europe can do.  So, we would have, say, 8 places for US craftsters and 16 for non-US craftsters, making a total of 24.

i'd like a non-US swap partner... would i be able to request one, do you think?
or would it be luck of the draw?
(i was just in the last round... so also, is it greedy for me to get into the next round? i'm guessing maybe not because it was a little harder to get non-US swappers last round, and you'll need more this time)

Oooh I really wanted in on the last round. If it were a little later on in the year I'd be up for it. I'm too busy right now Sad. (I'm in Scotland, btw)

Course, you're not being greedy!  If that were so, then so am I, damnit, and proud!! Grin  You are right about the need for extra non-US craftsters, so anyone is welcome, whether or not they participated in round 6.

I think I will do it on a first come/first served basis, and also ask people to name their top three countries.

How much people do you think will list Japan as their favourite country?  Undecided

Japanese things are so cool. Smiley

I live in hope that someone from Egypt will sign up!

suzeeannie, I think people would definately want Japanese stuff- because there's all the VERY cute cram cream stuff  Cheesy

If there's enough US spots, I'll definately sign up.  Smiley

do other countries not have those stationery/ toy shops that sell japanese stuff?
is that only common in australia because we are geographically closer to japan?
we even have japanese street press (like, free newspapers available on the street, made locally, but all in japanese)...

i'm not fussed about a japanese partner. i'd like anyone from germany, nordic countries (ok, i'm craving marimekko Wink ), the uk... far western europe, i guess.
or just someone that can send awesome 'regional' yarn.
does anyone ever ask for australian partners? just wondering...

I'd be so interested in doing this! Last time I tried, but I was too late...like one person too late!
Do you know when you will be doing it? My school gives us too much work, and I'm a little worried that my schoolwork will keep me from joining. Well anyways, could you please PM me when you start? Thanks!!
