HeHe! I love this idea! To make it even better you could use red frosting to make some of the butts look like they have lipstick on em...Love it!

I would never have thought of that, but that's very true and I'll add that!.

A good friend also suggested "chewing" up hubba bubba with forks and spoons and adding that to the ashtray. There's always chewed up gum in ashtrays.

Here is the final dessert (as presented to the office for our dessert contest).

I'm pretty pleased with the result. I used some food coloring to add filters to the cigarettes. Real ashtrays and gum adds to it as well.

that's the greatest thing i've seen all day!

i forgot all about candy cigarettes. i remember when i was little my cousins would come over and bring me packs. i'd sit there eating them and they'd say "no you don't EAT them! you suck on them and pretend your smoking! then when we're big like our moms we can do it for real!"
