ha ha bonbonz!!  I saw a similar way back in my hippie days made from a can of beans, so I bought it and stuck it on my bookshelf...

When I saw my lovely kiwimonkey loved Dr. Pepper, I made one of the guys at work drink one for me so I could get the can..very simple to make--use a can opener to take off the top; use a box cutter to start slits all around the can--then use old scissors or metal cutters to cut the rest of the slits...smash down on the can, shape.  Use the cut off from the top and glue it inside the bottom of the can (because it is lumpy and a candle won't stay in!)--I used good old E-600 or whatever strong glue...ta da

This was the most fun I had crafting in a while (not that it isn't all fun!)--it was just interesting things!!

And, yes, that is me in the ATC.... Cheesy

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Finally, without further ado (who says that for real, anyway?!!) here are my pictures of the fabulous package that angel of a Craftster SewPixie made for me.

One of her beautiful tree necklaces I have been lusting after.  You can't tell in the picture but the wire is a lovely blue shade and the crystals are soo sparkly and pretty.  The ribbon it hangs from is a delicate white with a chain and clasp on each end:

I've wanted one for so long!

Another item off my wists was this sewing tool/crafty supply organizer.  I wish you could see it in person.  It's so well made!

Inside there are lost of pockets, a padded center roll that's kind of hidden here and another "pouch" that unrolls with more pockets.

And here is everything together along with a flannel fat quarter she sent

Thanks so much Becca!  Everything is so wonderful, I really feel so spoiled!
