I got my package from the lovely groschveux yesterday.

She sent me this gorgeous sushi table runner!

Here is an action shot of the lovely matching apron. It has a large quilted pocket on the front, with two compartments.

Groschveux sent me chocolate as well (yay dark chocolate!), and an extremely thoughtful surprise: tags with my etsy store name on them!!! I was so touched!  Cheesy

Thank you so much for the lovely gifts, Marija! And thank you for inviting me!

I love the fabrics in that table runner. I would be tempted to wear it as a scarf every now and then.  Cheesy

Oooh, I have that white sushi fabric: I made a fifties style frock out of it! Very cute use of all those funky fabrics groschveux

The smitten pattern I used is a bastardised version of this http://www.gallentine.org/Knitting/loversmitten.html except I used 4mm needles (US #6) and cast on 40 sts for the girl's cuff and 44 sts for the boy's cuff. And I just knitted down until it fit my and my SO's hands in there and reduced it a bit and finished it like a seamed sock toe

The mystery pattern shouldn't be too confusing, I picked it for its basic shape. But I would love to do a   mystery pattern for something more complex, how much fun would that be?? Like treasure map  Cheesy

All the fabrics in that scarf are awesome! Is that crossword fabric I see? And the tags are a sweet idea.

Totally love it all! As a matter of fact I was able to keep ahold of the leaf earings/necklace and wear it today with my scarf! I got two more compliments today! Oh and I'm going to take that lovely yarn and go find a coordinating color and make knitty's danica out of it! I'm so excited!

You guys might recall that one of the things jane feebles sent me in this swap was a magic yarn ball.  It came with a mystery pattern...here is what I made following the pattern!  The button was the last item I unwrapped in the yarn.  I had fun making it and I learned a few knitting things (decreasing!)...thanks again jane feebles!  Just in time for the cold...
