It's been a few days and now I'm caught up on all the crafty greatness in this swap.  I sure had fun!

OK, I received my teaser package from alwaysinmyroom today. Apparently the main one's still to come- unbelievable!! Check it out!

This package was my 'date' package, so it has lots of bits that you get on a date:
A bunch of button flowers just like the ones she received in the last round (I'd wisted them)

A GORGEOUS brooch made out of vintage buttons, and some kanzashi flowers

Postcards from Pennsylvania (Hee hee, there's a place called Intercourse) and a book to tell me all about this package

You know how she was sending me chocolate? She sent me 600grams. That's over a pound in Amerispeak! I weighed it to check!!  Tongue

As well as tons of chocolate she also found me a chili mango pop, yum! Nothing melted in the trip alwaysinmyroom, although some of the peanut butter cups got a bit squashed. I'm doing some mercy killings now  Grin
My SO's out of town so I had to ring him to gloat, mwha ha ha

PLUS a corking HTC in a cute magnetic button frame! How much does this rock?? I've stuck it on the fridge- like I said, my SO's out of town. Not sure how I'll explain it when he gets home!

PLUS I got a CD of her hubby's music, it's really funky. No pic sorry cos it's already been playing in the car.

Wow, what a haul just to get the date started: flowers, jewellery, candy, music and dirty pictures! Thanks Linda, everything is just beautiful I love it  all

I've got massive swap anxiety now, but I'm busting to see what's in the next package!!!

Glad the chocolates made it!! Talk about anxiety!! ha ha--I thought the postcard from Intercourse, PA would strike you funny!! You saw on the back that we also have a Bird in Hand, a Blue Ball and Paradise--all in, um, Amish country!! ha ha

I wanted to make it very clear that you wisted my button bouquet that I received from devilninny last round--I totally hijacked her idea, added a few felt ones, and three of the ones she gave me (I could not find as cute buttons as she did!)--so credit goes to her for sure!

Yep, do I know how to pick up a date or what? hee hee and, uh, please explain to your SO that the naked old lady pic is not really me--I sure wouldn't want him hitting on me.... Wink

I'm really glad you loved the package millik!
I was worried that it wouldn't be up to snuff because of school and whatnot.  Especially since I had "technically" sworn off swapping for the semester when you asked me to the dance  Roll Eyes  I couldn't say no to partying with the popular kids now could I?!?

The shrine turned out treasure chest shaped because there isn't a shrine shaped shrine anywhere around here!  I even PMed Stiffy to find out where she got hers but to no avail.  Undecided  I kinda like the way it turned out though....

Anyway, I'm glad I can say I remembered stuff from my book arts class last year and got a chance to use my skills.  And the pendant looks great on black cord!  I'm glad I let you put it on something you would wear!

Alright, too much blathering, back to homework and grad school applications I go......

ETA:  forgot, I did make the paper the book is covered in, it's called paste paper, we spent a whole day making it in class so I have a bunch of different designs.  Glad you like!
