I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Being in another hemisphere, winter theme may not quite fit for me, although I'm really into mittens at the moment, and I can pretend I'm in the snow with the rest of you while I BOIL

What's the name of that dance you people (you people, how rude am I??)have where the girls ask the boys out? Sally something? That could be a fun theme too?

ChloeisCrazy oh my...wow...that brown shirt is gorgeous. I love that stcil and the colors are great and bubba*tink is a great model for it. Smiley

I think it is Sadie Hawkins jane_feebles. "You people" *giggles*

Ok...when I got back from the grocery store a box was waiting for me...I received from hgflower. Horray! So, I opened the box and there was much happiness at Chai Cottage (what we call our house since we painted it a milky brown that looks sorta like chai) and photos.

First off...the wrapping paper is awesome. Looks like woven measuring tapes!

On top there was a very sweet card and three papers...very cool papers I might add. Turned out they were the song lists from 3 mix CD's!

There was a bamboo steamer basket filled with goodies. Two knitted headbands, green buttons (I love buttons!), adorable apple fabric, and the previously mentioned CD's

She also made me a shug with yarn she dyed herself! Look how cute the color looks with the apple fabric! Smiley Nice yarn porn shot there. haha

For my kitchen she bought me a sake set and some sushi fabric. The colors are perfect. I'm thinking this will turn into an apron and trim on some curtains (I'd do a whole curtain but I doubt DH would like it  Tongue )

The shrug goes great with the t-shirt I was wearing today. I also put one of the headbands in my hair already.

My ferret thinks hgflower rocks and also loves all the goodies she sent. He would like to say that he and his cat brothers love the box and paper the most and they will be good supplies for their box fort. Then he said something about using the fort to take over the world and put Karl in as president.

Thank you!!

All the ho's lust for that tee!  (And usually, at a dance, you Don't want to wear what anyone else is wearing, but not here!)
