i started a scarf for my husband last night, and i hoped to finish, as well.  WELL, i ran out of yarn.  i thought i had bought two balls of rowan chunky print in native to use.  apparently i only had one, and it's not enough at all to make a scarf.  it has been discontinued, and i got it on a 50% off sale yesterday.  i was superexcited about making such a nice garment for my husband out of a high quality yarn, and then i was disappointed to return today to my LYS and they were totally out as well as all the other stores in town.  i asked him if he'd like a striped scarf and he said that no he'd rather have a solid, neutral that would go with everything.

i bought (randomly) two lamb's pride bulky skeins in different colors for some other things.  would one skein of lamb's pride bulky make one scarf or not?  would i be pushing it too much?  what do you think?  i don't want to knit away again only to find out that i haven't got enough yarn!  ugh, this shouldn't be so stressful!!!!
