For Xmas, I've decided to make my mate "chocoholic in a box". I'm collecting bar wrappers, to use as wrapping paper possibly... I've bought some chocolate flavour lipbalm & some brown pearl earrings (chocolate is brown Cheesy), im going to add some chocolate goodies of course, fancy chocolates... but i need more ideas!

She 17, she loves monkeys, cats.. she's not very girly (like pink princess or anything like that), but she loves shoes from river island, pumps.. but don't suggest i add chocolate wrappers to shoes.. she's not the type of gal who'd wear that! I'm looking for more accessories, for her room, etc.. kitschy stuff i could make. Or use the gold tinfoil from choccie bars for something...

As of October 15th my plan is...
Buy some recipes off ebay, print them off and put them into a personalised chocolate cookbook (the cover will be covered in chocolate wrappers).
Get a small box, fill it with cadburys roses & tissue paper (to bulk it up - because I'll be most likely to scoff some of those babies myself!), and put the little gifts into it.
Small gifts for box
I have some pearl and brown pearl earrings
Some chocolate memo paper sheets
Hershey's flavour lipbalms (2)
Shrinky Dink chocolate magnets
One of those small chocolate books (Purple ronnie series, etc)

By the way, I'm in ireland.. we do get Hershey's over here, but we generally eat Irish & English chocolate brands such as Cadburys.

As a fellow chocoholic, I fully support this idea.

Well, I know, as a fellow sufferer of this disease, that one of the worst things in the world to find out...is that someone ate a piece of your chocolate without asking.  She likes cats and monkies?  How about a stuffed animal that she can open up and hide chocolate in.

They'll never get into her stash!

you could decoupage a jewelry box w/ those bite size candy bar wrappers..... it's easy and i think it would be pretty cute :-)

A magnet that says something like "Chocolate Lover" or "Dont even think about eating my chocolate!"

Etched glasses that say "I Love Chocolate"? (Etching cream is kinda expensive though)

...ack, I know i had something good a second ago...I'll let you know if I remember!

At HersheyPark they have long pillows that resemble Hershey's Chocolate Bar wrappers... I always thought making one would be fun... soft brown fabric with some of silvery fabric for the letters of "Hershey"

All the other ideas sound cute, too! Smiley

Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our finger through the flames?
Why do we leave our hand on the stove,
although we know we're in for some pain?

Ooh, I remember I read some napkins at Hallmark not too long ago with a good chocolate quote:  "I ate a dessert called Death By Chocolate, but it only made me stronger"  Cheesy
