What would you all think of a child board in crochet just for shawls and ponchos?
It would be nice to be able to view all kinds of them under one category
there have been so may wonderful ones down in the section!
Happy Crafting All!

I'm totally for this idea! I can't tell you how many times I've done searches trying to find ones that I know I've seen at some point, but just can't find now. As many of them as crafters are making, I think it would be awesome to have its own section.

i think it would be a good idea to have better descriptions. "another shawl/poncho!"... frankly, i can't be bothered reading these posts with very general subjects. i end up looking at the same posts overr and over as i can't remember from the subject what it was about, so now, i dont bother at all.
i'm sure i'm not the only person who thinks this... if i am, shoot me down.

I can think of a couple things...

1.  ponchos and shawls are very popular this season, but before recently there weren't many at all posts about them because they weren't so popular.  after this season it will probably die down again.

2.  there are a bunch of knit ponchos too...  do we include those, make its own section, or leave them in knitting, completed projects?

Personally I'd like knitting to be included.  Kinda following this line of thinking, but what about an even broader section to include all child oriented crafts?  For instance, knitting, crochet, clothes, toys, misc., etc.Huh?

Actually, was thinking some more- maybe it's too hard to include all the different types of crafts... Maybe it'll be easiest to have a child board for crochet and one for knitting  (maybe one for clothes, too??) as then it would be much more straight forward and easier to categorise.
