Woo!  I received!!!

I was sent some very cool earrings (which are red! yay!) and a stencilled tee (very professionally done - as someone who can't do this, it seems like magic to me), and a pendant, which is gorgeous, and I DID take a picture of it, but my camera has eaten it!  I have also just seen that the earrings pic is a bit rubbish - I'm so terribble at photography, but I shall get some new photos asap!!

Wow, wow, and wow!

I love the long bright green fringe! That color is going to be seen from miles away... reminds me of my neon orange tassel belt (aka the Don't Shoot Me "safety dance" belt). Is that a ninja on the bag? Awesome. Now I want to see a bellydancing ninja. ;-)

Shorty3boys, how did you get that stencil so perfect? It looks great. Nice choice for a picture, too.

The knitted bellydancer doll is such a cute idea! It makes me want to crochet one for me, too.

The lovely & talented lilliesnremains made me hair falls (!!!) which are incredibly thick and long (and heavy on my head! haha). She also made shell earrings, a black scarf with sparkly bits to go with the falls, and sent some black bangle bracelets. The package & a bad close-up:



I put it all together in my costume for a Halloween hafla we had here last weekend. It was so much FUN to dance with these crazy heavy falls on my head. These babies are seriously long: top-of-the-head bun all the way to my tassels. O.o

Lilliesnremains, thank-you so much for the great swap stuff! At the hafla, I wore them attached to two buns (top & mid at the back of my head). Lots of dancers were petting and oohing at them. :-) Everyone loves your work! Here's a few pics from the hafla that show the swap stuff better:



My pics really don't do them justice. I'm having a hard time getting a decent pic of the falls because they're so dark/ I suck at pictures. (And that mystery arm behind me there looks like a freakish third!)

Finally, our trio of swappers decided to make a little something for the "third," as a personal swap to go along with this one. Eidnarb made me these beautiful shell/feather/coin for my hair. (Yeah, I needed lots of head-thingies!) I love peacock feathers. <3

i'm glad to hear that they got good comments!

pictures of my stuff coming as soon as i get a day where i can wear some stuff o out it in context. i'm doing a bunch of bellydance workshops this weekend, so that might be the time to wear some of my things anyway.
