It is mushroom season here in the Pacific Northwest and the Chanterells are sprouting up everywhere (among other things!)!!! Anyone interested in a mushroom swap?
Some inspiration....

thats an awesome idea, I really dig the psychedelic Alice in Wonderland, bright colors kind of things. That would actually make a really awesome tote.. hmmmm... Roll Eyes

Oh ya, totally! I mean, it doesn't have to be the edible real kind, I love all representations of mushrooms!!! By the way, those are 'aminita muscaria' the big orange alice and wonderland kind of mushrooms, and they grow around here too! You don't eat those...

I'm no mycologist Wink but this could be a really neat swap! (I love mushroom imagery.. curious but true).

There could be the realistic, the stylized, the hippie version, the Alice in Wonderland version (with or without caterpillar), the cutesy version (with or without chipmunk Wink), the Nintendo version... hm...

I love mushroom imagery! It depends when you're thinking of doing it though! I'm kinda swapped out till just before Christmas now, but I'd love to take part! I like the sort of psychedelic hippy mushroomy stuff, think dark Alice in Wonderland and funky 70's styling!  Cool I'm not really into cutsy stuff!

This sounds like it would be really cool! I'm also pretty busy between now and Christmas, but I'll bookmark this and if the timing is right I'd love to do it too! Smiley

I'm sooo in! I have a 70's mushroom themed kitchen. I'll bookmark this, I can do this now or later - preferably later.

OK, so I am pretty busy too, we all just decided this Christmas we are going to make all of our gifts! Yay for me! Since I almost always make my things anyway, and sometimes I feel like everyone thinks I am being cheap (which by the way, crafting is not always cheap as we know!) so I am glad they are going to have a healthy appreciation for crafting!!!!

So maybe this one can be like sign ups in November, and send outs in early January? (is this too late?)

I think we can do anything mushroomy... I could organize and match partners up to style of mushroom things...if you like the 'mycology', earthy, nature of it, or the fantasy, smurfy, 'trippy' style, I will match up people with similar likes!
