Those are really sweet crafts.  Where did you find the skeleton man at the party... the image that's on the cd?  The cat in that image is especially adorable.

It's by one of my favorite artists - Shag.  He also is the artist on the nightlight. You can find his work at: www.shag.com

Gah!  I need to get to the P.O. for those bought items.  They've been sitting in my car ready to go.

Anywho, I wouldn't suggest to anyone to get one of those wooden bases with the rods and letters.  The stinkin tiny rods it comes with don't even fit into the holes!!!  I was SOOOOO pissed, because, of course, I had it all together and didn't even fathom that they would make something that didn't fit together, but was supposed to fit together.  So, I drilled into the holes, but I didn't have the exact right size of bit, so that's why they're wonky.  Maybe a little fimo in the holes would fix it?  I found out at the last minute, but, boy was I mad.

I made those little felt candycorns at work and everyone asked me what I was making and they all thought it was cute.  They're hand-sewn and can go in a candy dish or with some hooks they could hang from anywhere--  wherever I checked, they didn't have those christmas ornament hooks.  Silly seasonal item.

I was thinking of calling that bag the Neverending Candy Bag, because it made it loooooong.  My friend picked out the fabric for it, there were too many choices.

And my Halloween Mix '06 cd is probably my favorite item, next to the candy corn.  I had a lot of fun finding and choosing songs for it, although the other day I heard "Thriller" on the radio and thought that would have been a nice addition.

Here's the playlist to share with y'all!

1 Monster Mash by Bobby "Boris" Picket and the Crypt-Kickers (ripped from Halloween Hits)
2 Graceland by The Groovie Ghoulies (taken from Re-Animation Festival)
3The Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley (taken from Halloween Hits)
4 The Spell Is On by The Groovie Ghoulies (taken from Fun in the Dark)
5 Rock Lobster by the B-52's (taken from the self-titled album)
6 Zombie Crush by The Groovie Ghoulies (taken from Re-Animation Festival)
7 The Boogie Monster by Gnarls Barkley (taken from St. Elsewhere)
8 Li'l Red Riding Hood by Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs (taken, evidently, from the 20th century masters collection)
9 The Horror by RJD2 ( from Dead Ringer)
10 I Put a Spell on You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins (taken from Halloween Hits)

So, as you can see, Halloween Hits is pretty good cd.  And I like the Groovie Ghoulies.  I have a combination of Re-Animation Festival and Fun in the Dark, but I like most of the songs off of Re-Animation Festival.

Happy Halloween!  er.... post Halloween deals!

So Rangerbeth received from me a few days ago... she had said she was deep in exam time, so I'll post a few pictures!

I don't have pictures of the full package (candy and stuff...), and I'm missing the earrings... and... I think that's what there was. I can't remember now!

I made: black purse (out of a corduroy pantleg!) with a skull and "treats" ribbon:

... with an orange lining!

A batty felt covered journal:

Here's the inside so you can see what I mean:

And (the worst picture ever of) some (orange) candles I put scary cats on! (I used the "tissue paper" method..)
