I'm interested in joining or starting a crafting circle in my area.  All the groups out there (on Meetup or Craigslist) are 1) oriented for one-craft people and 2) occur dwtn late in the evening

I've determined that 1) since I do LOTS of different crafts and 2) I live outside of Boston and need to commute home within a rigid timeframe that those such groups are not for me.

Surely there are other craftsters out there that want to share their crafting successes and failures in a casual environment.

I'd even be happy to open up my house for a gathering.

Let me know if theres any one interested.

I enjoy papercrafts, yarn crafts and sewing.  I'm able to teach papermaking and would like to learn more about jewelry, candle/soap making.

I have loads of good quality CIGAR BOXES available for trade.  Great for purses, shrines, jewelry boxes.  PM for Pics.

hey, i live in malden and am interested. i do lots of things too, but mostly knit and embroidery.

i'm going to start going to the Spark Craft Studio's Wednesday night Stitch n' Bitch, but I'm also up for have a group more local.

i wonder if there are others on here?

Now, my story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" 'cause the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles

I've heard from just two craftsters in regards to this.  I'll keep people posted if anything starts up.

I used to live in Cambridge, so accessing Spark was easier.  Now its a few bus/trains connections.

I was driving down Main Street in Melrose and noticed a new shopfront was going in for "Art 101" which i can assume from the sign that it's my town's answer to Spark Crafts (though not as cool I can assume)

One can hope that it is in fact a space for crafty workshops and such.  If it is I will try to teach my papermaking workshop there.  I'd definately keep people posted on that front as well.

Happy crafting all your slightly-north of Boston craftsters.

I live in Malden and own Feed Your Head Books in Salem. We've been running a knitting group on Sundays from 2-4, which is going to be morphing into a crafting group. You're welcome to join us if you'd like!
