It's been three hours since you posted this and I didn't get a pm. Hmm, maybe you got distracted with all your crafting. Wink

I have to say, SevsOnlyGirl, you did a great job of matching me with the perfect partner on this swap! I can't wait to get started!

I'm so glad!  I think your partner feels the same way! Wink

Yes, yes I do.  Great partner, great swap.  Can't wait to get crafting AND then get to see the gallery too!
This is all very, very good.

would it be blasphemy to use Red Heart for a knitted stocking?  To my mind, it seems like a waste of wool for something that's going to hang up and not spend any time keeping anything warm.

In my, not so humble opinion, it's not a waste at all the use Red Heart for the stocking.  I've crocheted a number of Christmas items with this and love them!

Wow this thread grew bigger overnight! Wink I've started some little things and have plenty of ideas for the others, in a couple of days I've got two days off work so that will be stocking brainstorm and making time I think...and of course a huge shop sometime soon too! Cheesy

I'll have to find some pretty wrapping paper also!

I will be out of state until February. I may be able to check emails periodically so if you need me, it would be more timely to email me. Thanks. ANY OWED SWAP PACKAGES WILL GO OUT BEFORE I LEAVE.

Okay, I'm thinking about loud here, but...

would it be blasphemy to use Red Heart for a knitted stocking?  To my mind, it seems like a waste of wool for something that's going to hang up and not spend any time keeping anything warm.  I don't want to seem like a cheap skate, but, well....okay, I guess I am.

Other knitters' opinions needed!

i think it will be fine to use red heart since it isnt going to be worn or anything

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
