Dollar stores can be a god-send.

I usually buy beads from the craft store but they cost an absolute for fortune for only a few beads. Yet I got an entire bag of beads from the pound shop. Shocked

Sorry, I got confused saying dollar store. Tongue

I'll probably get a bunch more goodies.. and make more things too.  I feel guilty cos the only dollar store near me is really utter garbage, and I don't want to send anyone crap..

So I'll think, and when I find whoever you are, I'll do my best to make ya happy!

Oops, I joined but forgot to bookmark the thread so I've missed lots of chatter.

I'm going to say I will send a medium amount but it will probably end up being lots once I see what my partner wants.

I'm beginning to worry that I didn't put enough on my questionnaire because I don't think I got too wordy, unlike some others  Grin

Oh I know how you feel.. I'll probably fill the stocking with goodies for my partner.. but yea.. I'm aiming for a lot of it to be crafted since I really can't afford to spend a whole bundle on goodies and trinkets..

At least this way I'll get to reduce my stash a bit eh? Wink

selise I am doing the same thing, I have bought some bits but am making others, the only problems is that post to the US from Asutralia closes on nov 1st so after that there is no garunter that it will get there in time, so I gotta be supper quick at making my bits n pieces, so I am starting today to make things for it.

For me, it's not that I can't afford all the goodies and trinkets, I would rather make everything and I end up running out of time!

ACK, are you serious? I wonder if it's the same the other way around... *eep* I'm off to check on the Auspost site, back in a jiffy.

Weve just passed our 'no more surface mail packages overseas before christmas' but I'll check on airmails...

Okay well I just rang Australia Post (shows how excited I am about this swap, I hate phones! Tongue) and she told me that airmail during christmas time is intended to operate as per normal. So by her statement of the packages taking 7-10 days you should be able to send right through December which I SO do not believe Tongue

But our sendout date on Nov 20th seems like it would all work out fine *fingers crossed* Cheesy
