Here are a few of mine for the week. I would have nicer pics but some lovely butthead broke into my house and stold my digital camera and other stuff. The Orange is Alpaca, hot pink is silk from the hanky and mill ends with tan in it.

My Fiber Friday the Thirteenth contribution, from the quickly fading natural light...

Your Majesty Merino from Spunky Eclectic
Single plied with white thread
~150 yards

The former WIP, now FO, that kept me from posting Fiber Friday pics last week.
4oz Wool Blend Moonflower (Almost Solid Series) from Spunky Eclectic
4oz Red Maple Corriedale (Almost Solid Series) from Spunky Eclectic
Both spun 2-ply bulky and knit into my non-Craftster-reading-sister's Christmas present.

I love Spunky Eclectic!  It is great to see some of the wool spun up.  The FO looks great!  I hope your sister apreciates all your hard work Wink

okay, so these are officially the first 2 skeins i have ever "successfully" spun on a wheel. a little over-spun still, but i'm getting better i think. the spinning bug has definitely bit me now! Cheesy

the brown one is natural brown merino sliver with bits of dyed blue spectrum batt from shades of narnia.
the pastelly one is merino in 'cassis' colourway from sun bench fibres.
both were spun on an ashford joy - not mine  Cry

Happy Fri the 13th everyone...
Here's this weeks new stash:

Blue Boucle, 74 yards, Merino and kid mohair blend

2 skeins of grey domestic wool, plied with 2 different colors of novelty nylon nubby yarn

Hand carded merino spun singles (there is every color of the rainbow in this one)

Grey domestic wool triple plied with vintage purple commercial wool, and comercial novelty yarn with wool tufts

laamissa!  Your spins are drop-jaw amazing!

Way to go k8kre8s!  They're adorable first skeins!

Here's mine for today:

"Helium" with ecospun puffs

"Golden Bunnies of the Sun" with angora puffs and gold Bernat "Disco" yarn

"EcoCamel" with angelina, camel down, ecospun, and mohair/wool

I spun 7 for my shop this week, and am already finishing off two this evening.  I'm addicted- and there is no 1-800 number available.  It has been a while since I've tackled single plies...  and the past few have a little challenging.

Hope you all don't mind if I jump in with my first Fiber Friday contribution.

This lot were my 3rd, 4th and 5th wheel spun, and my first really successful food colouring dyeing.

In this close up you can see that there is lots of room for improvement, but I was really happy with it.

The lot came to about 170g and is 100% Merino. It was a birthday present, and the recipient seemed happy.

Everybody's looks so good; hobbledehoy, I love Helium.
