Do you have a favorite folk tale or fairytale that you've held near and dear to your heart since childhood? Were you enchanted by the Disney movies Cinderella or Beauty & the Beast, or did you perhaps prefer the darker, original versions of the story? Either way, this swap is for you! The mysticism and imagination of fairytales provides inspiration abound for journals, totes, plushies, artwork, trinkets, and other mementos.
Just a few things before we begin...Keep up the communication- let's try to keep this swap flaker-free:) If you need to send late, for any number of legitmate reasons, just PM me and let me and your partner know. When you find out who your partner is- break the ice, make friends, ask questions- that's part of the fun! If you want your partner to make you a shirt or skirt, etc, be sure to PM them with your size(s) and measurements. If you're unsure about whether or not they would like something you have an idea for, just give them a little hint and ask if they like it or not.
Swap packages are to include one large item and two medium items, or whatever package size you and your partner agree to send each other ahead of time - just be clear with each other on this one and you won't have too much of that 'did I send too much/too little?' anxiety. Above all, have fun getting to know your swap partner and putting some thought into your crafts for each other
Practice good swap etiquette - PM your partner and the organizer with your delivery confirmation code, PM both again to let them know you've recieved, and finally, thank your partner in a PM/letter for the package they sent. Don't forget to take pictures of your items(if possible) before sending, and post pictures on the swap gallery.
