heh, what's worse is..I can do the knitting (I think she's got armwarmers on there somewhere, right?)...but I can't do international shipping. Ahh well, I'm sure she'll get picked soon enough...patience, right? Think of it as more time to do crafts for other swaps we're in Wink

I knit, and I knit pretty fast, but with a two week turn around, and other things to do those are pretty hefty tasks.  Maybe she could add a few things?  Some smaller projects.

About me:
I am 15, and love to sew and do artsy/crafty things. I love all things homemade and things with an indie, kitschy, retro vibe. I don't really like pink, purple, pastels, or anything too girly or punk/goth. I like japanese art and crafts, and am a huge band nerd. Also, I like cherry blossom motifs, birds, trees, typewriters, maps, and vintage designs. My tastes range from modern, minimalist, and subdued, to funky, classic, and vintage. I love music, especially jazz. I'm a fabricaholic, I love vintage and reproduction prints. I also adore anything knitted, but unfortunately can't do it to save my life. I've tried, with no success. My favorite colors are dark green, black, gray, navy blue, brown, rust orange, turquoise, olive green, and dark purple. I like darker colors better than really bright ones. Whew! That was a lot. Don't be afraid to ask if you want to know something else!

I claim SoonFamo-Artiste for:

*Fabric
Anything Green, Blue, Turtle, or CareBear Theme)

This is my 3rd claim.

I'm in Alberta, Canada and here's my list:

Sewing

A tablecloth (70" x 50") with a snowflake, sunflower or leaf themed fabric.

A butcher style apron (adult large) with no pockets (see my likes below for fabric ideas.)

Things for my hubby

My hubby and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary this month and I thought it would be fun to make a list of items he might like and surprise him with something.  So, here's my "I love my husband and want to do something nice for him" list!

A butcher style apron (adult large) in a masculine fabric -he likes tools, wildlife, red, blue or black.  (I'm tired of seeing him wearing my aprons when he wears one)

He loves doing carpentry as a hobby and I thought a cross stitch picture would be fun - I would like it to say 'So many tools, so little time' and also have some tools on it.

He collects hot sauce (3-5 oz. bottles) and any interesting or unique looking ones to add to his collect would be wonderful.

He really likes peanut M&Ms, macaroons, Oh Henry bars and jelly belly jellybeans and I know he would appreciate a goodie box containing these (and even other chocolate items).

Other

Beads - I have being making some jewelry and would like to make more but I need more beads.  Please no plastic!  I like all colors, I like neat shapes and different sizes.

I like watches that have 'fun' designs on the face or in the band.

I have themes in my house each season so I like things made with sunflowers, tulips, scarecrows, snowmen or snowflakes.  I also like dark green and dark blue.
