I claim la_chrystelle for a knitted hat/mittens set.  This is my second claim this round, and I am in the UK

Here's m'list:

1. Amigurumi animals, especially rabbits, frogs, cats and owls

2. Wallet like bubba*tink or knottydottie make! *sigh* - I soooo want one of these my wallet has died.

3. A surprise from my wists!  www.wists.com/esmerelda

4. Wool tops/roving - batgirl very kindly claimed me for a needle felting kit in OWS 14, so I would like loads of this stuff!  Thanks, banga!

5. Beautiful, lovely, wonderful handspun yarn!  Love it!

6. Japanese craft books.

7. Interweave Knitscene Fall 2006 magazine

8.   How to make fabric origami ornaments kit

9.   How to crochet kit I suck at this big time!

10.   A surprise kit!  I love trying out new crafts, so anything other than how to knit-kits I would love to receive!

11. Sampler Threads from The Gentle Art - www.thegentleart.com - any colours!

12. Stenciled/screenprinted t-shirts (size UK16/Women's Large) - I prefer v-necks cos I have quite large tatas and too much fabric in that area (i.e. a crew-neck) make them look gimungous!!

About me:

I am 25 and I live and work in London, UK.  I live with my boyfriend of 3 years (he just got back from the Middle East on Wednesday - yay!!!)  My favourite colours are tonal colours as opposed to primaries so teal, leaf green, butternut squash, buttercream yellow, blackberry, you get the picture.  My preferred themes are asian cultures, world religions, pirates/nautical/oceanic, dia de los muertos, floral, birds and forest creatures.  I like opera, folk music, classical and punk (favourites are Puccini, Kate Rusby, Philip Glass and Green Day, respectively) and I tend to read series of books by one author, rather than individual books from varied authors (the Discworld series, the Rumpole books, the Jeeves books, Harry Potter, Narnia, etc.).

Thank you in advance, you wonderful crafty people!

I claim esmerelda for:

1. Amigurumi animals, especially rabbits, frogs, cats and owls

This is my 1st claim.

I'm in Alberta, Canada.

Yesterday (the 12th) my hubby and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary and I thought it would be fun to make a list of items he might like and surprise him with something.  So, here's my "I love my husband and want to do something nice for him" list!

1)  A t-shirt (men's large) with an M&M candy or the M&M man stenciled on the front of it (large or small figure is fine)

2)  A t-shirt (men's large) with something Coke related stenciled or embroidered on the front (large or small 'thing' is fine)

3)  A butcher style apron (adult large) in a masculine fabric -he likes tools, wildlife, red, blue or black)  (I'm tired of seeing him wearing my aprons when he wears one)

4)  He loves doing carpentry as a hobby and I thought a cross stitch picture would be fun - I would like it to say 'So many tools, so little time' and also have some tools on it.

5)  He collects hot sauce (3-5 oz. bottles) and any interesting or unique looking ones to add to his collect would be wonderful.

6)  He really likes peanut M&Ms, macaroons, Oh Henry bars and jelly belly jellybeans and I know he would appreciate a goodie box containing these (and even other chocolate items).

Okay, that's my list - it was hard coming up with 6 items - and I hope someone can find something on it to help me surprise my wonderful hubby.  However, if I stall this list, I guess I will have to add some of my own stuff, but I hope it doesn't come to that!

I claim la_chrystelle for a needle roll and something to organize her sewing supplies!

This is my first claim this round. I'm in Canada and I do ask that you please don't send any leather or gelatin (an ingredient in some candy) because I'm a strict vegetarian Smiley

Here's my list, in no order what so ever:

 - I'm a photographer, so anything with a camera would = love. Maybe a tshirt, hoodie, keychain... ??

  - It's started to get rather cold here in Canada, and I never handle it well (very thin blooded, I'm afraid) so I would love mittens, scarves, toques, fingerless gloves, leg warmers, neck warmers, wooly socks... anything!   thanks domUNIQUE!! I can't wait

  - A lot of my friends have moved away for school, so I send a lot of letters and postcards. Any cards, postcards, or stationary sets would be cool.

  - Photography or Fine Arts magazines that aren't from North America... you can never have enough photo mags!

  - I'm going to Italy in December for a month of volunteer work, and I have a lot of things to do and plan before I go. What I would really like is a small journal/planner for all my prep work, and then a larger journal for while I'm there (to write in, glue pictures/tickets/etc). It would be even better if they were a matching set sort of thing.

  - I need a tiny wallet, just big enough to hold my ID and money when I go to concerts at my favourite bar.

  - Or I need a bar appropriate purse... a clutch or something?? A solid, neutral colour or pattern on the outside would work well, and then a fun cute fabric inside (that way, if the fun fabric doesn't match what I'm wearing, no one will know! )

  - I love all of the cute reversable fabric headbands and belts that I've seen on Craftster.

  - I want to jump on the amigurumi band-wagon, surprise me.

  - Simple totes with a screen-printed/stenciled/appliqued designs are great. My favourite tote is falling apart from over use, and the other had both a bottle of grape koolaid and a pen explode in it (on that same day!)

  - A cute bottle-opener (maybe take a plain one and jazz it up somehow ) I hate having to ask the boys to open my beer. It makes me feel so ... dainty and delicate. Yuck.

  - I would love, love, love to start doing lino prints but I don't know where to start! A kit would be fantastic!

  - I am such a music whore. I spend so much money on concerts and cds, and it's never enough (how gluttonous, eh?). Expose me to some new stuff -- I'd love cds of local bands in your area.

  - Stickers, candy, toys, doo-dads specific to your area... mmm, candy! I could also take some of your paper stash off of you, if you like!

Is this enough for now?? If not, I have lots more to add... and links to examples as well. If you choose me before I can add some links, I'll pm you with them if you like.

Thanks so much to however chooses me! You are all so very talented, and I'd be grateful to receive anything that comes for your crafty little minds!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

About me: I'm a 19 and I live in Canada. I come across as being really girly, but I'm a tomboy at heart. I love motorcycles and beer, but I certainly have my uber girl moments. Most of my close friends are guys, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I work a lot, but I like to spend my spare time reading, watching a good film or two, and listening to music. There's a great concert scene in my city, so I'm always checking out shows. I listen to everything imaginable, but I can't get enough of the blues right now. Wednesday night is jam night, so that's where you'll find me (I'm a regular now!! The other regulars talk to me and everything! It's only taken about 3 months... Undecided). I've just started learning blues harmonica, and I hope to be good enough to jam one day.

Incase you haven't noticed, I adore photography! I plan on starting my BA next year, assuming I get accepted. I currently have 9 cameras (with one more on the way... thanks lefemmefatale!) but more are always welcome.

Good themes for me? Cameras (duh!), peacocks, orchids, music

Thanks to anyone who chooses me!
