I claim esmerelda for roving and a surprise!
This is my first claim this round.
I'm in Germany.

Here's my list:
- a glass slide pendant necklace (with a vintage stamp, sea creature, or a Gallo loteria since that's my name!)
- a nestlace with something other than eggs in it. Maybe a turtle?
- a chunky necklace made from any of these: Funky glass/wooden/clay/crochet/felt beads
- I would adore you if you made me a love letter necklace like Uli's on Project Runway! It can be all silver, or even a colored clay envelope if you want. It would be awesome if the little letter could have the initials J and E written on it. These are the best pics I can find! http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/photos/season/3/designers/Uli_Herzner
-A version of one of these pendants with a leather cord http://www.spoonfedart.com/gallery/gallery.html
- And I am stealing this link from Samsara, cause this stuff is gorgeous! I'd love a version of one of these cuffs or hair combs! I think "Oceanic" and "Toadstool" are my favorites!

Craft stuff:

- I need 12 pairs of kiddie socks in greens/reds/prints with those colors. 6 pairs size 4T, 6 pairs 6-12 mos. Even one pair from you would be great! (I'm making a baby sock advent calender for my nephews! http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_occasions_december/article/0,1789,HGTV_3270_4186030,00.html)
- Paper (Decorative sheets, prints, cardstock, handmade paper, tags, etc.) & Embellishments (Glitter, stickers, vellum, ribbon, rubber stamps, ink, embossing materials, ephemera, etc.) On its way! Thanks princess_me!
- An ATC book! Perhaps one that I can seperate into categories for the different themes I collect or an Alphabet ATC book for my new alphabet collection! Of course bonus ATC's are always welcome  Wink
- A "learn to knit" or "learn to crochet" kit to help me spend all my lonely hours here!

- Arm warmers or fingerless gloves in a neutral color (black, tan, white maybe?) I love cabled or open weave lace/lattice looks.
- A big, colorful scarf. Color should go with aqua, but otherwise is up to you! I have several on my wists if you need specific ideas! Thank you Samsara!
- A wide black scarf, one that is nice and warm!
- Knee socks. Especially stripes or argyle. I'm a US size 9-9 1/2, but you don't need to make them yourself!
- A panta in a jewel tone or neutral color. On its way! Thank you eenodol!
-Warm gloves in a color of your choice to match my aqua wool coat or in black. I esp. love long gloves, like a pair to the elbow.

-I love this skirt or a similar one! http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?sbsize=1&sbs=1&sbsCatID=322&itemID=12287&itemType=PRODUCT&iSubCat=322&iMainCat=314
-I adore screenprinted and embellished tees/tanks/hoodies. Women's small for tees and tanks, medium for a hoodie. I especially love zip up hoodies with large hoods cause I have a big head and lots of hair. See my wists or PM me for ideas.
-Bath/body stuff, homemade is great! I love gritty, exfoliating soaps, creams/lotions, and have a severe lip gloss addiction
-A pair of funky pink slippers US size 9-9 1/2. I'll love anything! Skidproof soles please as I have hardwoods and am a bit klutzy.
- A pair of large Xmas Stockings for me and the boy with our names on them! I love modern or vintage stockings made from modern/vintage prints/or old sweaters - these are cool! http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=stv890004&contentGroup=MARTHA&layout=martha
but don't like cutesy ones like these: http://www.aneedlestouch.com/christmas.htm
-Anything at all from my wists! It's a long list, so you have lots to choose from! Link in my signature... However, please don't send me anything heavy or big! I'm going to be moving every 4 months for a year and a half, so I don't want to accumulate heavy things I will then have to pay big bucks to ship!
- I also have an amazon wishlist and I'm addicted to reading. Books are the way to my heart! http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/ref=pd_ys_qtk_wl_more/104-7078514-3091164

About me:
I'm another American girl adventuring abroad, this time in southern Germany. You can also see the swap info page on my blog. Link below...

Thank you in advance to whomever chooses me!

you have to be accepted first before you can claim her. if you want to join just pm Irid3sc3nt. but she isn't on right now? or well i didn't see her online. and if you already did that you have to wait for her to tell you it is ok. i believe.

This is my second claim this round!

My wishlist *New Stuff Added!*

Ethical & Allergies - Im a vegetarian, so no animal products please (wool's okay, but leather or suede isn't!) Im also allergic to nickel and some perfumes.

I've just started a new job and I've realised that none of my bags are big enough to comfortably hold all the junk I need to carry! I'd like a flat bottomed bag (so it'll stand up on it's own), sturdy enough for A4 hardback sketch pads, registers, water bottle, textbooks, general art teacher junk, with pockets so that keys, phones, etc don't get lost inside, and if you're feeling REALLY generous, a matching pencil case?  Kiss

I would love a LOTR inspired Elven head-dress like the ones Arwen or Galadriel wear!
Theres quite a good tutorial for Arwens Butterfly crown here http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/makingem/Tips/Metal/Butterfly.htm
and here http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/makingem/Tips/Metal/ButerflyClay.htm
And Galadriels crown here http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/makingem/Tips/Metal/GladCircletPat.htm
(Im allergic to Nickel though!)

I love Ron Weasleys Animal Crackers hat from the Prisoner of Azkaban. http://www.woolgathering.net/archives/cat_rons_animal_crackers_hat.html

Arigurumis I would absolutely LOVE a Captain Jack Arigurumi!! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=104545.0 *sigh* If I cant get Johnny Depp into my bed, Ill make do with Jack Sparrow!!
Or a cat? I haven't got a single arigurumi and I wanna get in on the fun!!

A Rainbow sock monkey (or maybe one in purples) Thanks Roxybadoxy!! Got there in the end! *lol*  Grin

This one's bizarre, but maybe someone would like a challenge - I'd like a travel backgammon set! I saw a pattern once with a knitted board that was reversible, or maybe a fabric board (that would roll up!) and I dunno, fimo pieces? Bigmouth made me a fantastic checkers set, and Id love a backgammon set too!

A sewing bag like this in purple?

Handknitted socks. I love hand-painted yarns, purples, jewel colours and rainbows! (Im a UK size 4)
A fibre necklace like the ones from Enchanted earth! http://www.jade.enthuzed.net/11.htm I love Truffles and Autumn Leaf, actually, I love em all!! (Steal away Banga, they are stunning!)

DIY kit Needle feltingIve tried wet felting, but never needle felting! Id love to have a go!

Japanese craft books or magazines.

Anything from/inspired by my wists http://www.wists.com/Samsara

About me

Im a 37, Im an art and pottery teacher, and I live in the UK with my BF, 3 cats and a german shepherd dog. Im basically a hippy-chick, my favourite colours are purple, black, and emerald green, although any strong colours are also cool especially rainbows (I dont like pastels and I cant wear yellows, browns or oranges as they make me look ill!) Also I'm not keen on floral fabrics, unless they're oriental or trippy hippy, or if theyre appliqud onto something else Im really into appliqu at the moment! I love batiks, Indian fabrics and tie dyes. I enjoy yoga, reading and crafting, particularly new crafts! Favourite themes are cats, dragons, nature, trees, anything Celtic or Art-Nouveau, sci-fi and fantasy books and films.

Ive included my Wist, but dont feel obliged to produce exact copies, theyre more a general guideline of what I like or would like!

Thanks in advance for choosing me!!

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good..
