Does anyone know of a great recipe for salt water taffy? I would love one.

Taffy recipes are all pretty similar, calling for sugar, light corn syrup, cornstarch and butter.  For instance: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,163,155164-242200,00.html.  You can add whatever flavoring or food color you like to this recipe.

Taffy, ysolda, is a soft chewy candy.  It's basically just a soft toffee, made of the same stuff but pulled and stretched (so when you chew it, your fillings stay in your teeth).  My sister and I used to make it when we were little by taking marshmallows, turning them inside out and smooshing and stretching them between our fingers until they turned into smooth and glossy bands of sugary goodness.
