Hello fellow crafters... my 4-year-old daughter has her heart set on being Yoshi for Halloween, but I just don't even know where to start! I'm not that accomplished at sewing but I can give easy ideas a try. An suggestions? Or places to go for ideas???  Huh

Thanks...

with the hoodie i would team it up with poofy shorts like so
made of the same material and then white tights and red galoshes... since i saw that hoodie i had this costume idea in my head haha oh yes and paint a noise maker pink or red for yoshi's tongue! good luck! post pics when you are done!

Thank you for all the help and ideas. I finally plugged through and, though it's not the best by far, my daughter is super happy with it - which is really all that matters to me. Cheesy One note: my daughter said I didn't have to make the saddle because she didn't "think Mario would be there". haha Too bad I didn't have a little Mario doll around for her. Hope you like and thanks again!!
You can find photos at my flickr ... I don't know why I have so many problems posted them here. Sorry!

Wow that's super cute!  my little 3.5 yr old wanted to be blue yoshi but I couldn't figure it out Sad  He ended up being mario instead.  Maybe next year I could pull it off after studying your costume! MAYBE!  Thanks for sharing!
