Right, so I've been driving cross-country all last month.  And among the countless diners and Days-Inns we also made many a stop into the local thrift joints.

I picked up this sweet little star-clad number in Ventura, California.  Also in Ventura was this lovely little hipster boutique in which I fell in love with a fresh little tank dress sporting some wide stripes.  I was tickled by the dress but not by it's price tag (what can I say I'm cheap, and on a vacation budget).  Once I got home I remembered I had this sh-wankay guitar t-shirt (pictured  Cool) and I thought "Aha!"  For those of you who recall it: I bought the guitar shirt at TJ Maxx on clearance for like $3 the same time I bought the green shirt with the owl that I made a tunic outta.(http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=103577.0

Anyway  I made a dress myself, hope you can dig it:

Oh, and *claps for you* if you read all that backstory, you rock!

I love the stars, and how they look a bit like polka dots from a distance.  Excellent choice for combining into one piece of clothing.

So, when are you going on tour?  You and that dress are as cute as a button (which is all that's required for a music contract... just kidding).
