This is a lace tablecloth I finished around the end of July. It took about 3 or 4 months to complete. The pattern is the "Springtime" Design from the First book of modern lace knitting. I used (by mistake) two different colors of crochet cotton. Fortunately the color change came at a nice time and almost looks planned! Now I know to save ALL of my labels!! I have yet to block it but I stretched it a little to take the pictures.

****UPDATE****

I know she's not perfect but I'm not too picky. If it's too terrible it can be re-blocked I guess but I'm pretty proud!!

WHOA.  Shocked

I love the color change; makes it look so ethereal! You did an amazing job (and are officially one of the most patient people ever).

Yeah, I agree with you. The colour change looks planned, AND I think it makes it look even better!

Knitting is so much more fun when you're using a type of yarn that has "crochet" in it Smiley

I looooooooooooooooove it

That is beautiful.  My mother would love that!  But I don't know if I have that much time and patience to make it  Cry
