Ok, he's not that scary. I'm too late for the contest, but my friend Evan and I have always talked about wanting a zombie army. And I've been drooling over amigurumi for about a month now. So here's our first one, lounging on my wrinkly bedspread. It's my first try at crochet without a pattern. He took about two days. That's supposed to be entrails coming out of his mouth. : ) And the green parts are rotting flesh.

I got the green-rotten-thingy right away....but then, I'm in the medical profession.  Your zombie looks great, and the guts coming out of the mouth are a nice touch.

Thanks, guys! It's gonna be hard to part with him and send him to Maryland, but the recipient may collapse with love when he sees I made him a zombie, so that will ease the separation anxiety. I think next I'm going to make a 'human', peach yarn, x's for eyes, bloody, and find a way to make it's stomach open up, then I can actually attach the entrails from the stomach to the zombie....
