Thank you.

And you're absolutely right with the gathers on Ogle's dress. They're beautiful.

finally time to post one.. Smiley Cheesy

My sketch and my ugly colored version in Photoshop so that people know what the colors look like. This is a quickie, and honestly we're just now getting to how to draw nice looking clothing in my sketch class. I don't claim to be any good at drawing..

It's a wedding dress.. In case it isn't obvious by the long veil.. Tongue
Pencil drawing: (click to make it bigger)

Colored version: (click to make it bigger)

To describe it:
The brown parts are leather, the corset is very soft leather, obviously the upper bodice and the under skirt are lace.. Not sure what I'd want on the outer skirt yet. Back I am envisioning bustled, haven't drawn it out yet. Brass rings and buckles accenting the leather strips on the gloves. Don't miss the little bloomers poking out there!

anyhow.. I will have lots more to post soon.. Hope you like it.. Smiley

That's a pretty wedding dress, Auroraskye. At first glance at the sketch I thought her veil was her hair...  Roll Eyes Silly me.

Yes, great detail and I actually like those boots you drew, too.

Yeah, she actually has no hair.. I didn't draw any so I can understand the confusing. I suck at hair and faces, lol. I don't want a bad face to detract from the clothes! Smiley

And I am obsessed with details, I make everything so detailed.. I love it. Smiley

I've realised my character designs are sort of fashion doodles, too, very often... maybe not exactly fashion in the narrowest sense, but clothing designs to fit the characters at any rate.
Some of them are already several years old... and lots of them aren't scanned yet, so you can look forward to seeing more. Grin

This one is special, because I implemented the Craftster "Knit Fast, Die Hard" design into it. Grin

They turned out a bit small (and there's quite a lot of them, so I think it's better.). If you want to see bigger versions, let me know.

auroraskye: I love the detail of the dress!!!
Marmota-b: Great doodles, the fourth one down reminds me of lara croft tomb raider.

Here are a couple of my latest doodles: I can't wait to make them.

Thank you. I suppose I was inspired, but only unconsciously. Cheesy
I like how you used the denim texture!
