This thread has been quiet for awhile, so I thought I will post my latest drawing to bump this thread up.

Hi, Bluwave! Great dress and incredible detail around her waist.  Smiley

-------------

Update: I didn't have enough car & truck fabric to make the skirt design I wanted to make. Actually, there's barely enough to make a simple A-line mini if I can lose an inch or so from my waist. It still needs a zipper and had to be lined since the fabric was a mite too thin for my taste.  Shocked

Wow! Such a wedding dress! Smiley

Shydeana, that's a pity with that skirt... try to sew that design from another fabric, I like it.

Thanx, shydeana and marmota-b.

Shydeana, that's a pity with that skirt... try to sew that design from another fabric, I like it.
Or you could use the fabric and find a contrasting fabric and incorporate it so that it flows with the design.

Hi,  I haven't posted on this thread before, but I came upon it a couple days ago, and it's sooo inspiring!  I'm currently spending so much time doing fashion sketches for collage applications that I barely have time to breathe, but whenever I feel like I just can't do another one, I look at all the amazing work on here, and suddenly I can't wait to get started again.  Thank you soooo much everyone!!! Hopefully when I'm accepted someplace I'll be able to take some pictures of my own stuff and put it on here.  Yay!  Thanks everyone!  Smiley

Hello all!  I finished up a Fashion Illustration course this past semester, and the following were some of my final projects.  I borrowed the whole blowing-watercolor idea from loukr on this thread Smiley  Your paintings were very inspiring!

I used masking fluid to mask off the body once I drew it.  Following are a few of my favorites...you can see more on my blog.

And I just now realized that I never posted my favorite on my blog at all...I'll have to find it and upload it when I get a chance Smiley

God bless!
