I like them all but I loooove the last one you posted shydeana. Its like chanel meets mod-style.

*****Thanks Smiley ~Deana.******

Here are some of mine all messy, pencily and gross. And to make it even worse the scanners at the library are ridiculously horrible since they are set to scan text. Angry

Hi!  Smiley I read where you had uncolored pencil art before I went to bed last night but was too tired to comment. While I was waiting to sleep, I had a thought....

Uh-oh, a Deana thought.... hide! Roll Eyes

I was going to challenge you to show your drawings and I would reciprocate with one of my own! I love seeing all the doodlers come out and be seen!

Well you read my mind because there is now new art! I don't know why you think they are sloppy. No, they are very neat. Mine are sloppy. Yours are so detailed, too. As you will notice shortly, my personal scanner is much worse in quality than your library scanner.

Without further ado.... Roll Eyes
My reciprocation:

and colored:

Since you did a formal dress, I thought I'd do one, too. Cool

Thanks Deana Cheesy
I am making a Zombie Couture look for a Halloween Costume/Runway competition. It's based on this John Galliano Christian Dior Couture outfit. My design is different and I will upload my sketches later. I haven't started it yet, but it is definitely the most ambitious thing I have tried to make.

Here is what it is for: www.myspace.com/theminiseries
Project Runway: OTA Runway
Episode I: COUTURE DU SCREAM
Create the judges a Wicked High Fashion Zombie Look
You also must have a DEADLY & SICKENING Walk
Your Budget is $100.00 /Bring Receipts
Accessories will not be counted toward your budget.

(FYI: OTA means open to all)

You don't have to be good to doodle. I'm not good. Some of the other doodles are great but mine are just that, doodles. So yes, it's a great use of time and brain excercise! Come on, Loreliloalyn and Sher, doodle with us!

I'll match one for one if you each show a fashion doodle of your own!

And if you don't remember the 80's...  Yes, they were that bad... but with puffy sleves.

Goodie!  Grin Another doodler, loreliloalyn, has come forward!  Cheesy Thank you for adding your great fashion doodle! I like those ballet type shoes. And yes, I can remember the 80's. I'm the class of '87.

So, I'll reciprocate with another doodle. Last night, I was diddling with the disaster brown outfit I wrote about earlier. I gave up on making the top with fabric the way I doodled before. The spaghetti straps it had are now thicker straps and now has this white trim to frame my little "A" size boobies. I'm thinking of adding little white flow-y cap sleeves with brown trim like this doodle:

-or I could leave it a tank top and add more white trim to the arm holes.  Smiley There's still the problem with the skirt. It's only 14".  Roll Eyes Don't know what to do with it, yet...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I put this doodle in the curvaceous clothes forum:

Everyone, let's doodle together and create some great designs! Grin

I like the idea of the green dress.  Tartan would be difficult though.  No green based tartan-it'd blend in.  Red based would look too x-masy.  I think, like you have, that a blue based tartan or a grey one would look best, or perhaps a brown based one if the corset was changed to black.

Hmmm ... I do have a black corset (with silver grommets), so the brown based tartan could be cool. I do like the green dress even though it was a kind of spur of the moment choice of color.  Grin

Shydeana - I do take some pride in it, but it's mostly so detailed because I do it during class. I have a lot of time to do details in class because it takes less attention away from the thrilling lectures than generating ideas does. :p

I do my doodles in pencil. Once I'm happy with it, I do the outline in black ink. I don't normally color them, but that time I did in Photoshop.  Grin

ogle - Congratz on drawing stylish guy clothes! I've never succeeded at that. Cheesy

Here's my next doodle:

I actually drew this awhile ago, but I had it scanned into my computer, so I figured that I'd color it. I think I was inspired by the music of the Phantom of the Opera (pre-movie). Smiley
