Great doodles, Racehorse 87 and Noelle! Yes, Noelle, yours count as fashion doodling! ChiOrchid, let's see some of your doodling. I'll add more, too!

I'm still dilly-dallying with the brown outfit here. I put a 1/2" hem in the skirt, so it's even  Roll Eyes , but shorter still!  Shocked Shocked I'll have to fur-SURE add some kind of ruffle or pleating to the bottom of this skirt!

Also still debating adding the little cap sleeves..

I'm soo busy making the damn Halloween outfit, I haven't had time to post my sketches. The hood really gave me hell, but it's on there and the sleeves are going on tomorrow.

Thanks for the compliment racehorse87. Guy clothes are all I design with myself in mind since it's super hard to find cute guy clothes that fit my style. And I love the dress! I wish I was more literate with Photoshop  Undecided I will try my very bestest to post some more sketches and maybe some progress with the costume.

Noelle: Your style is soo cute. I love the skirt with the bow on the back and the top (or is it part of the dress Huh ) with the puff sleeves.

Thank you. ^_^

noelle - I love the top left one of the sketches you posted. It's very cute and innocent, it reminds me a lot of the 50s. And the hem of the one on the right of that is neat.

shydeana - I think a ruffle would look really cute! Maybe even a lace ruffle?

Good luck with the Halloween outfit ogle, that's quite the endeavor to undertake.  Wink
If you want to gain Photoshop literacy, I could try to hunt down a basic tutorial on http://www.deviantart.com (They've got a lot of helpful stuff, but a lot of useless stuff too)

Also still debating adding the little cap sleeves..

I think those capped sleeves are *really* cute, I would actually wear this outfit (And several of your other ones as well).  This outfit is unreavealing in a sexy way... Me gusta.

I fashion doodle for Ren Faire Costumes.. Here's the next noble gown I'd like to make...

Here's my fabric swatches:

now to find the time and extra $ I'll need to get the little stuff. I have all the fabric and trim I'll need so I guess it's really just time at this point.

My question is how everyone has learned how to draw fashion? I have a terrible time with faces, hands and feet.. hehe I guess what else is there eh?

Anyways there are some great ideas in here. Thanks for sharing!

I've reconstructed this little number:

and here is a link to the gallery of the process:

I've also made a French hood- which is in the above picture and a simple drawstring bag.

That's it at this point. I need to get started on more. The faire season in Phx is fasat approaching  Tongue

Wow, TeaCouture, your renfaire items are beautiful!!  There is no way I could doodle and then create to this level. Bravo to you, TeaCouture!  Grin

I just love seeing how many people doodle fashion ideas! This is great knowing there are others that share this doodling passion. Even better those who create such great things from their doodles!
