Don't feel bad, Whiskey, it wasn't your fault. You asked several times for someone to take over, as you were too busy, and it seems that only a couple people volunteered, and that didn't work out.

(Like I said, I can organize again in November, if people are still interested, as I'm currently involved in my first organized swap.)

I wasn't picked this month, but I have been picked in the past. It's a crap shoot. Also, as a note to new people, you have less of a chance of being picked if you have very specific or difficult things on your list.

Also, I think the time of year is difficult, as many people are going back to school, planning for the holidays, etc. Maybe this is best a summer wishlist swap?

So what are you, a mod or a rocker?
Six of one, half a dozen of the other, really.

It's a crap shoot.

Lol Stein hit the nail on the head.  It is nobody's fault that this swap stalled.  Other swaps with this format have stalled at this time, also.  I think it is the season, and people are just busy with their lives.

Whiskey, thanks for organizing this for so long.  You're an asset to us swappers!   Smiley

Thanks for setting up the angels, Whiskey, but I honestly don't think it was necessary. Generous, but not necessary. As people have said, we all knew this was a crapshoot, but I prefer this format to the wist format. I don't want to give someone a picture of something I want made -- I'd rather throw them a concept and get THEIR interpretations. Of course, that may be why no one selected me. Which is FINE; if someone wasn't moved to create something, then I don't want it. (If I already have a picture of something, I can usually do it myself.)

That said, if this format continues, I will more than likely participate in it again when things loosen up. September/October is probably exceptionally busy for a lot of people, as I expect will be November/December. So! We play when we can!

I had no idea you were trying to get us angels! Whiskey, you are really going above and beyond the call of duty and it's very sweet that you care as much as you obviously do. I wish I could take this burden off your shoulders somehow. Thanks for trying!

Due to to some organizer issues the swap will take a hiatus for the month of October and reappear with Lol Stein as the new organizer in November.

Anywho, I started the next one, and I think it's up to par with the new rules.
