These bags were inspired by a paper gift bag i saw at walmart. came home and made up a pattern for it. I think they came out adorable. have had a lot of good compliments about them in my shop. let me know what you think. i love feedback

I love the colors of the fabric you choose. They're really cute--now I wish I had a sewing machine so I can make similar bags! What did you use to reinforce the sides of the bags so they stay up straight?

Those bags are truly gorgeous.... I have an itching feeling that I am about to visit an etsy shop to see if there are more! Cheesy They are great! Do you have a serger or a sewing machine? I have made some bags and wallets but am always cursing during the process because the dogfeet on my machine don't like it when two layers of interfacing are involved. And thats very thin interfacing. I was confused by that because I bought one of the best Singers on the market when I got it. Any tips on that part of it?

i have a euro pro and love it i use a straight stitch 1/8" away from raw edge then another one 1/4" and then zig zag the edges that way the bag has durability. and will last a long time.
hmmm im not sure why your machine doesnt go through the layers. has it always done this or is it just recently. you may not be using the right needle either. i change mine every time i sew that way it passes through the material very well and if i do something that has a very heavy feel to it with interfacing added i will use a blue jeans needle
and cheap thread does not help. make sure you use a good thread breaking every second you try to sew is just frustration.

i hope that helped a little

That helped loads!!! Thanks!  I was using an 11 needle because thats what you needed for that fabric... I didn't think about upgrading because of interfacing. Cheesy Doy! Thanks!

These are really great! Just today while making a wallet my daughter asked if I could make her a "toy" wallet to match! Girls love this!
